Togo Bible College

The Togo Bible College was the first WBI preacher training program in Togo. What is especially remarkable about this school is that it was established by brethren from Ghana. The brethren at East Coast Bible Institute (Dzodze, Ghana) converted several people from Togo through their radio program. They saw the need to train preachers and started training a small group of men to preach. This is the “self-propagating” aspect of the WBI approach to missions in which those we train become missionaries themselves. The bamboo structure they built was on borrowed land and had to be removed. Funds were provided for us to buy land and build a structure for what is now known as the Togo Bible College. TBC is complete with a large classroom, an office, and dorm space for student housing in one wing of the facility. The results of this first school have been beyond expectation. Five more preacher schools and hundreds of congregations have been established in Togo.
